Default brain surgery

I am currently recovering from brain surgery(colloid cyst of the third ventricle). I still have many questions and am looking for some one to correspond with. Also I would be willing to discuss this procedure that I went through with any one that needs help.

Hi Thomas,
Sorry you have gone thorugh this, but happy you are doing better. I had a colloid cyst removed Nov 2000. I went through rehab to help regain speech and memory that had been affected by my surgery. There is a forum here at NeuroTalk for colloid cyst and I believe Alffe was kind enough to give you the link. There is another site which was the "parent" site of this forum community that has an active colloid cyst community. (I would give you a link, but that is against policy)

I hope you are able to find support out there. I know I was actively searching for others who had gone through a similar experience. I just felt that finding others to share with helped with the recovery process.

Please search the net for info on colloid cyst. You may find me out there in other sites as well. Discododi, or Dodi.

Best wishes, and I hope your recovery continues to go well, Dodi

Hi, Thomas! Welcome to NeuroTalk!

There is a search engine in the blue toolbar above that might also help you locate discussions or those who might benefit from your experience.

Glad you found us, see you out there.
