Heart very confused

My daughter had a 2 brain shunts, which blocked right away. Finally the Dr.s put in a spinal shunt, but since then she still has gotten severe headaches, her head swells on both sides of the head incision, has gone blind at times, and if turns wrong or stands to long or sits to long, her legs go paralyzed until she gets a shot of morophine and ativan, as the ativan seems to help bring back the feeling in her legs w/in 20min.-45min.
My guestion is has anyone had the same problem, and or heard of the ventricle not closing completley where when the fluid builds up it leaks out of the hole from her ventricle. Also i was told that it sounds like the spinal shunt was placed to close to a nerve and that's what's making her go temp. paralyzed. Can anyone please give me any advice or help in this matter. My daughter is suffering considerably, plus her memory and personality has gotten worse since it.
Thank you
