Default hello

Hi im Gillian

well not sure where to begin really...literally stumbled upon this site, read a few threads and thought, hey heres a place where i can express at long last what im going through, with people who already know what im going through.

Im 42 from the UK (not far from Stonehenge ) .
About 10 years ago i sustained a relativley minor head injury (i ran into a concrete lilt) i wasnt knocked unconcious but recieved some nerve damage on the top of my head and some neck damage....i never went for an xray but my Doc gave some painkillers and it was left at that. The nerve pain never went away ..some days it was excruciatring..especially when the damp weather set in or when i was pre menstral.

Last year however i noticed some small open like sores appearing on my scalp..blisters along with chronic pain...again some days better than others...i was diagnosed with "cold sores"...and then only a few months ago with shingles....Since then things have got alot worse...the pain down my neck is extremly difficult to deal with..i have blurred vision most of the time...my right eye is extremly painful...the sores on my head have now been shown "not" to be shingles but as a direct result of injury...My balance and coordination are getting worse i dont go out at all now unless my partner is with me..i can no longer chance driving as i cant see very much...my doctor has referred me to a neurologist for an MRI..possible fiberneurolgia..or even tumor..i dont think ive been so scared in all my life...for the last few months i have been on neurotin and declofinacs...today the declofinacs were up a few miligrams..im in so much pain i can hardly move my head..i just wish i knew what the problems are...my partner and i have argued alot ..im getting very moody well bad tempered ...she is trying her best ..she is also facing some possible difficult decisions..im trying to understand....but my head is in a tight vice....

i could go on..im sorry to ramble...just dont know what to do....
