Hi Gang,
I don't know if any of you remember me but I used to be on this forum for about five years and left about a year and a half ago because my diagnosis was changed from SPMS to Heredity Spastic Paraplegia (HSP). HSP is a rare deteriorating motor neuron disease and only about 20K diagnosed patients in the US. No treatment, no cure. With MS it is "if" this or that may happen. With HSP it is "when" will this or that happen. All they can do is make me comfortable and treat some of the symptoms. I have since learned that we have many of the same mobility, weakness, cognitive, and psychological problems incommom. So I thought I would come back and ask if it is OK for me to rejoin your forum. I really miss my old friends and the love and support. Let me know if this is OK with you all. HSPCraig Craig Mattice www.aboutcraigmattice.com |
