Default upper airway-looking for info.new here

hi everyone,FINALLY!a site where I can come about epilepsy and upper airway resistance disorder.My lil guy just yesterday we got results from sleep lab done a month ago by his neuro.team.they found that it is upper airway resistance disease and we need take him to a ENT.check his tonsils and adenoids out.I will tell you a little about us,son is 7 with autism/pdd mildhigh functioning,along with partial complex seizures and VERY HYPER AND IMPULSIVE.Which for a very long time,I have been chasing and running in circles getting a dr.,to look into his hearing issues and nighttime breathing,if it has to do with why he has serious behavior issues, low cognitive skills,and hyper from a.m. till p.m.I am glad to be here,and meet others who I can relate to,and get better informed..thanks,autpddmom

Hi Mom

Not sure how active the autism room is. We are also at times not very
active in child neuro either. But if you post in there a few will answer.

Also the epilepsy room has some parents too.

I'm Donna, and I have a 16 year old with epilepsy and who is mildly handicapped.
