Hello everybody! I am so new at this, I don't know quite what to do, and my typing skills have completely disappeared. I have systemic lupus and the prednisone I have been taking nonstop for nearly 30 years has caused stroke-like symptoms which has caused me to stop driving, walking, talking clearly, etc. I have forced myself (until recently) to work (teacher) but have quit now and am worried about no money coming in. I have applied for disability, but I was told that it can't be granted for a mandatory 6 months. Is someone on disaility allowed to withdraw a 401K before retirement age without penalty?
