Default Hello

My name is Lisa and my mother has an undiagnosed nuerological disease. In August of 2005 she began experiencing a tingling in two fingers and one of her big toes. Within 6 months(Feb 2006) she was completely paralysised. Since Aug of 2005, we have seen and consulted with some of the top nuerologists in the United States(Mayo, Emory University in Atlanta & Shands at the University of Florida just to name a few) but we still don't have a diagnosis. Fortunately, the doctors we have seen have agreed to try different treatments even without a dianosis which have kept my mother alive and even allowed for some improvement. I have made it my life's mission to keep searching until my mother is either completely recovered or a diasnoses is determined to explain why she is in the situation she is.

Heart

Hi Lisa,
I am so sorry about what you and your mothers going through ((hugs))
Diagnosing Neurological disorders can be difficult, I suffer from Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy and it took me 5 months to get a diagnosis.
as your mom had blood tests/MRI scans/CT scans etc on her arms and toe??
Take care and sorry that I can't help you further
Love
Alison
