Default Hello everyone, in great need of help and hope I can offer some in return

Hi everyone,
My name is Sonia and I am feeling desperate and a little hopeless right now. In 2001, I was in a near fatal car accident. I was at a stoplight in a Grand Am when a Ford 350 clocked at 95 being chased by 3 cities of police hit me, wrapped my car around it, took down telephone poles, and put me in a taco bell parking lot. It took 2 years for me to recover leaving me with some chronic pain, emotional and memory issues but happy to be alive.
In 2004, I was driving another Grand Am when the biggest buck every seen in our county seemed to fall out of the sky and land on my car. The car and the deer died at the scene and once again I was thankful to be alive. I was knocked out for a while, needed some surgery and after another almost 2 years of recovery was as close to being back to normal as my body would be.
2 months ago I was driving home when a truck ran a stopsign hit my trailblazer, put me in a spin causing me to hit trees and other vehicles before stopping. People at the accident could not believe there was a survivor. Once again, I am thrilled to be alive. So why am I complaining? I have continious headaches, sometimes so severe I can't stand it. I have 3 children (2 chronic, 1 is a post intestinal transplant recipient and developmentally delayed and 1 has had open heart surgery) and a husband that I feel have not had "me" for 6 years now!
I am not even sure if I know what normal is anymore, but I know it's not this.
I appreciate this forum and the ability to vent.
Does anyone know much about post concussion headaches? I am assumng that is what I have (along with my fractured sternum).
My doctor is on vacation but I will be insisting to go back to my nerologist that I saw for my other accidents but was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or ideas for me. At this point I would go stand on my head outside all night (and I am in Michigan...way below freezing and 14 inches of snow today) if someone told me it would help.
Thanks again and I look forward to getting to know many of you.
Sonia
