Default Hello all

Hello,

I'm one of your new members, and I have to say hi there. I have the partials, and last year the grand mal started. My first one and only grand mal seizure was a status epilepticus. But thank god i was in the hospital when it happened.

My seizures started when i was 22 about 7 to 9 months after i left the marine corps. I'm a war vet of desert shield/desert storm. then a year later i had the right temporal lobectomy, then i had the VNS, and now i'm in the RNS research study. So if anyone has any questions about these, just let me know.

Daisymay, I can't remember if I sent you a message or not. Nothing new has been going on for me. If I haven't sent you a message it's because of the doctor visits with my neuro. Because of the research study she has been seeing me very frequently. I hope that things are going well for you.
I'm able to put down happy now because I finally heard from a good old friend from high school that's in the navy. I was worried about him, and last night I got an email from him. Now you take care.
Sincerely
Shawn

I wasn't here for a while because I had trouble finding my thread. Not much is going on, I hope that you're doing OK after you see the dentist. Now if you have dentures, don't let them slip out while you talk LOL.

love ya!!
