Smile Intro

Hello, my name is Bethanna. I was diagnosed with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy last Monday. I've been reading up on it as much as I can, and doing what I can to pamper the foot that is affected.

I am newly married - married December 15th to my best friend. We were both a little side swiped by the diagnosis, I could have sworn I just twisted my ankle really good.

This diagnosis is both very scary and a relief. For the first time in I don't know how long my legs and hips are not wracked in pain thanks to the Elavil.

It's good to find this. I'm glad I'm here.

Default Welcome to Neurotalk.

I see you've found the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy forum here; lots of expertise and empathy over there. (Be sure to read up on all the variations; doctors are not always that cognizant of the different presentations and patterns that the condition may have.)
