Default New and scared

Hi,
I'm Daisy and i have been having all sorts of CNS starting three months ago.
My biggest complaint is muscle twitching and cramping...it's like my body doesn't want to work correctly anymore...right now i am having trouble with my hands typing this. I've been to the neuros and the first one diagnosed me as having conversion disorder (this was after my leg went out and i fell down an entire set of steps). The second one i've seen made me go get an EMG/NCV test which i flunked. (left leg muscle atrophy).
I'm taking Cymbalta which does help with the pain.
Is anyone else out there experiencing the same types of problems?
Did you get a diagnosis yet?

Default Welcome to Neurotalk.

What other kind of testing have you had?

You may have a peripheral neuropathy situation, or a central nervous system situation, or both at the same time.

I highly recommend the Liza Jane spreadsheets for neurological testing--very comprehensive, good for suggesting tests to doctors, and for tracking test results over time:
