Default Howdy, Folks

In July 2006, my loved one was declared brain dead in a California teaching hospital. He didn't seem dead to me. I am interested in all things relative to coma, vegetative states, brain death, bioethics and the medico-legal aspects of making a person legally dead, especially when legally dead is not dead enough for the surviving loved ones.
