Hi all! I am a new member to the site. I am a Tinnitus sufferer besides the siren that never stops, I have constant headaches and loss of short term memory both effect my quality of life. I of course have major sleeping issues. I have been taking Elavil to help me sleep, which helps. For the headaches I have tried Topamax(or Dopamax) because it gave me dopiness, then Neurontin with limited success. Now my Neuro wants to me try Lyrica for the headaches has anybody had any success or advice about Lyrica for headaches caused by tinnitus? The side effects of these meds concern me, since they are sleepiness, loss of memory, weight gain etc. Any other Tinnitus sufferers out there?

Rich

Hi Rich and welcome to Neuro Talk. I don't find a forum specifically for Tinnitus but am familiar with it from working for an audiologist. Here is the link to our General Health forum...http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum2.html
