ADHD is a symptom of an underlying problem. Get allergy tests, sleep studies, EEG, and MRI before taking mind-altering drugs.

Good luck!

One big, warm, tight, hug, handshake and howdy, moose-size official type welcome. This site is amazing!

I'm sorry about your diagnosis, but glad you found us. I had to take my oldest boy, (Gabriel, only 6) to a therapist earlier this week because I think he may have a similiar problem. Many more appointments before they figure it out.

I'm more than willing to share any and all advice. Regardless of your's and my son's ages, treatment may be very similiar. And keep in mind:

You are not alone.
You are one of us.
And we are here to help.
