Hello Catherine

I am new and not sure how to use this site yet and maneuver, but I hope this shows on the thread. I suffer severe pain in my neck, lumber, and elbow, and shoulder. Not all from the same things. My chiropractor got me a new Tens/EMS machine called a twin stim. He has showed me how to use this on areas and issues I did not think would work to my amazement. IT is not a cure, but for me at least it is keeping me holding out for surgery and gives me a break from the severity of the pain I endure.

It is a far better deal if you can use that than the drugs which make me very sick. It is rare I have to use a narcotic since I got this. The machine what recommended by my pain management doctor and surgeons I have seen also. I believe you can get one on trial to see if it works for you and it is covered by most insurances if you have insurance.

I am sorry to hear of your sad situation and can empathize.

david

Hi Catherine, I am new here too. You have got great advice from everybody. Take care of yourself. Pain is always a symptom that something is not right. Again, try to rest as much as possible and follow any leads.

Hi and welcome to the group.

You might check the RSD forum also. RSD pain is like a phantom pain that comes from injuries that have healed but people still feel the pain of it.

I am no good at explaining so if you go over you can describe you symptoms to the others and see if they can give you some input into the RSD.

I'm glad you found the forums. You will get great support here.

Ada
