Default Can use Support

I must first mention that I'm not very tech competent to start with and do not have a computer but use the one in the local library, which comes with time constraints(one hour daily).I am unable to drive and must walk to the library about 1/4 of a mile from home (and back of course) so I don't get to the library more than once or twice a week, depending on the weather.
I had recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor, actually any one of five kinds of brain tumors and had surgery in Nov. of 2007. Turns out I had something called a Brain angioma (not a tumor at all) which is an enlarged mass of blood vessels on the brain.
Since the surgery I seem to be having more complications than ever before. I would like to be in contact with anyone else that may have the same experience and hear how they are dealing with their situation.

Default Hi Rick,

I hope you do find us when you make it to the Library. There is a great bunch of people here who will keep you company even if they can't relate to what you are going through.

I am very sorry for what you have been through. It seems like you are trying to get back on the horse though and that's important.

Please keep us up on how you are doing. Also check out our depression forum also. It seems a lot of us deal with depression when we are so ill.

Take care and hope to see you here again soon.

Thanks to everyone that has responded to my quest for support! I'm having one of my better days today, weather is fine,I seem to have better balance and coordination so I went out for a walk and was able to make it to the library.
I seem to be going in cycles with feeling better and feeling downright out of it.
Once again I'm hoping someone else that has experienced brain surgery for an angioma will reply with advice on both physical and emotional help. I seem to be experiencing stronger emotional responses to life than ever before.
I look forward to checking back with this site as soon as possible.
Take care all.

Wow Rick,

You have been through a lot. I hope you find some other's with similar experiences here. Everyone seems to be very nice.

Even though you are having troubles now, I am glad you didn't have to go through the tumor deal.

Peace.

Thanks to all for your support,It's been uplifting to know that people are concerned. I would like to ask for information on something called "Von Hippel-Lindau Disease". If anyone is familiar with this I would really appreciate your input.
It's beginnig to snow so I must go now.
Take care.
Rick
