Hi there!
This is my first time. Well my name is Jenny and I was diagnosed with MS back in 1996. I have had symptoms off and on but nothing too serious. I returned back to Ireland 2 years ago. I have been waiting to see the neurologist for the last two years. Help MS has hit again only its my eyes this time. I have been scared to say the least. Its lonely here in Ireland and I have no friends to share with. Could do with some friendly banter |

mornin' Missy!
and welcome to this place. I think I know how you feel... the country I live in has no MS, and acute loneliness to discuss MS-related stuff happens to me too... there's only one neuro here, and he knows virtually nothing about MS. so, what are your eyes doing? has your vision grayed, gone blurry, seeing double, or gotten all jiggly? (optic neuritis, diplopia, nystagmus, etc.) your wait to see a neuro, is that just for a regular update appointment? can't you get in to see someone when there's something NEW going on, so they can treat it? can you call them, and ask? good luck, and keep us posted on your happenings, okay?

Welcome Jenny!
I also have MS. And mine over the years has primarily struck me with a few cases of ON. You've certainly come to a good spot for friendly banter. The link above is great See you there
