Confused Confused?

Hello, my name is Michele. I am 40, 5 weeks & I will be 41, 5 months ago I was diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy caused by diabetes. I am in pain, usually when I sit for long periods or at night time. The pain is in both of my feet and its a stabbing burning pain. I also have a degenerative and bulging disk in I think my L5. I could be wrong but it's the disk that's close to my butt. I get confused because sometimes I know what I want to say, but it doesn't come out. Also, I forget things. This is due to the medication that I take. Anyways enough of me. I am glad I found this, but hope I did this right.

Michele

PS: I love smileys

Michele:

I also have diabetic neuropathy and I have found much relief (from the burning) using a specific kind of B-12. It's called Methylcobalimin.

Every morning on an empty stomach I take one pill (5000 of the Methyl B-12). It dissolves under my tongue.

Best thing I ever did. I foolishly tried to save money and bought the 3000 pill. Big mistake.

I go to iherb.com and by the Jarrows Brand of Methyl B-12.

Go there and take a look.

Have you ever tried this?

Melody, I am not sure if I am doing this right, but it doesn't look like it. I haven't tried it, but you know I am willing to try anything that won't kill me. I will look at that. I can not stand the burning pain as I am sure you can't either. How long di it take before the burning went away? Thank you for replying back to me. Do you work? How long have you been diagnosed with PN?
I tried to hit quick reply and this is what I got.

Here’s a link to what I take every morning!!

http://www.iherb.com/ProductDetails....1&pid=117&at=0

Now, I can’t tell you that it will do for you what it did for me, but just read up on it. For me, it worked within two weeks. Doesn’t do that for everybody else. I was extremely lucky. And I don’t know if you are aware of this, but if you are under any kind of stress, and you have diabetic neuropathy and you burn, WELL STRESS WILL MAKE YOUR FEET GO ON FIRE!!!!

I found this out. So I try to de-stress myself whenever possible. Not an easy thing to do but it’s my survival we are talking about here.

So here’s a nice image of what I think I am inside my head. All de-stressed!!!! lol

Ah, how do I get destressed?? By watching shows like American Idol. By watching old re-runs of the Johnny Carson show and laughing on the couch with Alan.

Laughing always destresses me. I have to do this or I would go nuts.

Take today. Alan had his operation. All went well. Piece of cake.

Until I tried to get him home. He has never used crutches before.

Holy Cow. I never knew it could be so hard.

But the funny part was when he got off the access-a-ride and he kept screaming that his pants were falling off. I was yelling at him to put the crutches under his arms and he's yelling "but my pants are falling off". They were. I hiked them up, and we both started to laugh.

Imagine a man on crutches in a cast, laughing his head off because his pants almost fell to the floor.

If that doesn't make you laugh, nothing will.

By the way, I had to keep hiking them up.

I'm trying to figure out a way to get him undressed for bed.

I will never last a week doing this. lol
