Heart MS and Me

Hi all,
I was dxd in 2000 after 2 or 3 years of tremors n my right hand. My family dr ad no idea what was going on so he sent me to a neuro...... I had every test done but he never had me go for an MRI! I was hurting so much, I told him my neck and shoulders hurt s bad that I cried in pain.
He then sent me to a Chiropractor which relieved my pain for Ten minutes after his therapy.
I was getting frustrated with these doctors, and took a rest away from going nowhere. I needed an answer, but felt here was no one to help me. It took another chiropractor to talked to me and had my neuro send me for the MRI.
Finally I knew what I was dealing with and started treatments and prayers. I am a positive person with a great love for the people in my life! Its great to know that I m not alone. All support is appreciated.
,
Diana

Hi Diana,

Glad to 'meet' you. Have you seen the multiple sclerosis forum? Just scroll down the page to M. You'll find a lot of support and information there.

I am undiagnosed, but have been having symptoms for 8 years. I'm now considered "Probable MS." I have a question for you...do you have MS changes in your spinal cord? I'm wondering as I have a lot of pain, too.

Hope to hear more about you.....

Default Welcome Diana!

I was diagnosed just in December. Had difficulties for years, but just recently decided to get to the bottom of ALL of my individual health issues. Found a new PCP and was ready to take it all on. She was great. Low and behold her first step was a brain scan to see if everything was related. I'm sure she suspected MS because of everything that was going on. And sure enough a trip to the neuro and off I went on this new "adventure". SHOCKED, but RELIEVED TO HAVE ANSWERS! You know how it is..... mixed emotions....

Welcome to this wonderful family! When I can't sleep at night, or I've had a bad day, I know where to find friends to listen to me! They are all great! I'm glad to include you in my new set of friends!
