Heart Rsd?

I have been dealing with CP for the past 18 months (with maybe 3 months surprisingly pain-free) after a "freak accident" in the summer of '06. It just struck me today that I have been diagnosed with a mild case of RSD in my wrist and migraines in the past (about 6 or 7 years ago)... I have been on low doses of Neurontin since with positive results. I am now being switched to Lyrica because of my horrible back and radiculopathic pain (both legs) - higher doses of Neurontin weren't favorable. It didn't occur to me until just now that this could be a case of RSD... MRIs show structural damage to my spine, but not much pressure on the nerves. I have a myelogram scheduled in 2 weeks and a follow-up with my Neurosurg in 3. Does anyone know anything more about RSD? I know there's a lot of debate as to whether it is a real condition or not... but I am starting to feel that this may be what I'm dealing with.

This is cute... and I feel like everyone deserves a hug for dealing with even the slightest bit of pain!!

Default Hi

We do have a large RSD forum. You can learn a lot about RSD there and meds that might help with it. I have had it since around 98 or 99. Took forever to get it diagosed.

Jo has given you the site. I hope you join us there and I know you will learn a lot about RSD.

Hope you do start having some painfree days.

Ada
