Default new looking for support for diagnosis
Hello,

I confess I don't have a lot of experience posting on boards but I'm going to jump in and see what happens.

I have been diagnosed with Occipital Neuralgia - a diagnosis that both scares me and gives me some relief- at least I know that the pain in my head is real, has a name and hopefully there is help for it.

I also have Hashimoto's disease and high blood pressure. Not exactly what I thought my mid forties would be like. I am hopefully for some support because I am pretty overwhelmed right now. Thanks for reading,

Hi Heather and welcome to Neurotalk!! Sorry to hear the circumstances in which have brought you here. I am sure you will find some valuable information on Occipital Neuralgia. I have met lots of great people here and it helps to find people who understand what your going through.
