Hello everyone. I just came across this forum from the Parent 2 Parent website. Here's a bit about me and why I'm here. I'm an almost 30 year old SAHM from the Denver Metro Area of Colorado. I have two beautiful little girls, Caitlin (4 1/2) and Cara (20 months) and have been married to my husband, Ben, for 7 years. Cara was diagnosed with hydrocephalus in 7/07 and had a VP shunt placed in 8/07. She also received a formal diagnosis of hypotonal cerebral palsy earlier this year. She attends PT, OT and speech therapy regularly and has made great strides. Cara has taught us a new meaning of the word "normal" and has shown us the true meaning of unconditional love.

It is my hope, that I will find some parents in my area to foster some bonds with, for support, encouragement and play dates.
