Hi Roguesnail!!
Welcome to Neurotalk!! I have RSD (4+ years) and lately my bestfriend has told me that she's been noticing how obsessed I've become with certain things and pointed them out to me. I obsess over words--what I am saying, what I am writing, what others are saying to me (written or spoken) needing to clarify every word....I fear...I'm driving my few friends crazy. I have to have everything in it's place---so not me. I don't know that I hoard... have to have lots of certain things (maybe that is hoarding) I wouldn't necessarily say that it's part of RSD. For me I think it's because my brain's been on overload for so long from the pain that it's turning to other things. Thank you for standing by your friend and wanting to help!!  If I can be of any help... just give me a shout. Abbie
