Hi vanemmenis,
Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups. I'm sorry that you've received such worrying results.

Here's a link to the CADASIL Foundation (Au and NZ)
http://www.cadasilfoundation.org/CADASIL_facts.html

There are a number of older threads regarding CADASIL. This one as you probably realize isn't very recent. The best way to find the information on the CADASIL threads is to use the forum search feature.

You can just go to
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/search.php and type in your keyword e.g. cadasil , and search for either threads or posts.

Perhaps you could start a new thread on
General Health Conditions & Rare Disorders Forum
You'll find a lot of past posts/threads there as well if you search the forum.

You could also check or post on the
Stroke forum

If you need any help finding the threads or your way around the forum please let us know and someone will help you.

take care,

Hi vanemmenis

It is good to read that you have got an appointment with a neurologist.

I know very little about Cadasil (no personal experience) so can only offer you general thoughts.

My inclination would be to ask the neurologist about anything that you are concerned about. If you don't understand the answers (it sometimes happens when dealing with health professionals...) then keep on asking questions until you get an answer that you do understand.

I hope that your appointment is helpful.

All the best.
