Default Hello everyone

New to this board Just a short intro here, I have suffered with Fibromyalgia for over 20 years for the last 3 years add degenerative disc disease, bulging disc in my neck, osteoarthrtis and bone spurs. Not to mention panic attcks that seem to get worse everyday. Pain everyday and I can't find a doctor that believes that I am in pain everyday. I am so tired of trying to find some one who will believe me and treat my conditions.

Default Hi and welcome.

I too have Fibro. Was diagnosed with it around the same time as I ended up with RSD and TOS. I also have Degenerative disc disease, osteo, and I suffer from panic attacks also. My first one was in a grocery store around here after that I had them all of the time. I had them under control until last year when I had an implant put in for depression and now they are back.

For the Fibro, you need to see a Rhematologist and maybe get triggerpoint injections in your neck and different pain places. They use lidocaine, some use steroids. I would suggest the lidocaine though.

It's a matter of finding the right Dr. that knows what you have and how to take care of it.

I am glad you found the group and you will learn a lot about the Fibro. And learning about what you have is the main thing to help yourself get better.

Hi Fiona and Welcome to NeuroTalk. Sorry to hear your'e having such a rough time of it, but I agree w/Ada in finding the "right" Dri for your problems. I also have FM and have a wonderful Rheumatologist who specializes in the tx of FM.

He also sent me for MRI's etc b/c of back pain and I'm now seeing a Spine Spec for that. So, the correct Dr for specific problem areas can be a great help. Good luck and I do hope you can get some relief soon. Please take a look around here and make yourself at home.
