Thank you to everyone who wrote to tell me thank you for serving the Country. I am a former 91B Combat Medic in the U. S. Army. I never dreamed that this community existed and am happy to have found this web as well as the support and information that is contained here.
I can hardly control my excitement to know that I am not alone and someone gets what I am going through. For so long, people have told me it was in myh head and I was lazy. Me, an ex Veteran, lazy? LOL! I finally got diagnosed but am still get denied by Social Security on the following basis: 1 Judge said, "If you can wear fake nails (nails .99 nail glue.99) then you can work! 2nd Judge said, "I don't feel you deserve your benefits and I am not giving them to you." She also verbally disrespected the 3 Physicians that she hand picked out personally for finding me 100% disabled! I guess graduating from college with 2 Bachelor's degrees means the pain stops, you don't have to take insulin, and you are magically cured of whatever ails you! I am still trying to figure out what medical and legal precedent that this ruling falls under. If anyone knows please let me know. I guess I am stupid and still learning! Thanks for listening! |
