Hi there roverman, and welcome to neuroTalk.

I'm sorry to hear of your pain which certainly sounds like it could be sciatic in origin. Have you had any investigations yet, and are you seeing a good doctor?

I've added the link to our Spinal Disorders Forum where maybe you'll be able to get the answers that you're seeking. Here it is: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum22.html

Hello roverman and Welcome to NeuroTalk. Sorry about the pain you are experiencing. I have back pain that radiates down my backside, down the leg and to the foot. The Spine Dr tells me mine is from my disks being bone on bone.

Wondering if you have some disk protrusion that is pressing against the sciatic nerve.
Have you seen a Dr yet? They can give better answers and also treat the pain.

Glad you found us and please make yourself at home.
