Default Hello im new and have no clue how to use this. sorry

Sorry if im starting wrong, I don't know much about this but I need help and I have no way to speak to a doctor but I'm curious about this. I was born in 1980 and had hydrocephalus. I had a shunt put in and things were fine. Then they realized that I no longer needed the shunt so in 86 I had to have my appendix remaoved so while they were at it they removed the shunt. Now in 2008 I have noticed that I now am having a problem with my left side. My shunt was in on my right side. My left leg doesn't work sometimes and my left arm is colder than my right, and sometimes tingles. I involuntarly bite my inside of my cheek (once again on the left) and I now stutter some and I was trying to say cupcake to my gma and ended up saying cakecup twice. She looked at me like I had grown two heads. Can anybody relate or help me understand?

Ltreas,

I am not sure what is going on, but I suggest that you see your physician/neurologist about this issue. I hope that it goes well.

Hi, Idtreas! Welcome to NeuroTalk!

I agree with Vic, get thyself to a neuro!

You're doing fine, just look around and you'll catch on in no time.
