Default thoracic disc herniation

Hello, I'm looking for help for my wife, she has herniated discs in her thoracic spine, t-11 and t-12. She has had this condition for 8 years and it has gotten progressively worse. We have tried physical therapy, chiropractic and acupuncture. Her only relief is medication and that doesn't work all the time. Her pain meds are many and often from pills to patches. Surgery seems to be the only option left and from our research this can be very dangerous, but there are new procedures which have a difficult learning curve. We would like to find the doctors that are proficient in the new surgical procedures of the thoracic spine. Richjd
