Smile New to site/new to Myasthenia

I have had Myasthenia Gravis for about a year, and what a year it has been! I have 3 children, ages 8, 10 and 11 and am married to a wonderful man. I am very active and that is my biggest problem with this disease (along with the megadoses of prednisone!), it keeps me from doing all that I am used to doing. This disease is like a mental/physical roller coaster, I never know what the day will bring. Thankfully, I love my job (I am surrounded by kindergarteners all day) and have an awesome group of girlfriends. But somedays, the emotional part creeps up on me and makes it very hard. I am here to talk to others that are experiencing the same things that I am, who understand the ups and downs and fear that sometimes comes with this disease.
