Hello Colin. I'm sorry that I'm unable to help with your questions, but I did want to take the opportunity to welcome you to NeuroTalk just the same.

You may get some feedback if you were to post under our Spinal Disorders & Back Pain Forum, so I'll give you the link to that just incase you've not found it yet. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum22.html

Hopefully one of our other members will have the information that you seek.

Melody, cervical dystonia is where there's abnormal squeezing and twisting muscle contractions in the head and neck area. These sustained muscle contractions result in abnormal positions or posturing.

Sorry, but I'm unable to answer the other part of your question.

Hi, Colin! Welcome to NeuroTalk!

Using the forum search engine located in the toolbar near the top of every page, I was able to locate various discussions concerning dystonia, the link below will take you to those search results.

As for psychosexual development, do you mean to say that the dystonia is effecting your emotional/mental health in terms specific to intimacy?
