Default trying to help my friend

My name is Bettina and I trying to find out more information for a friend, it will be a blessing to find someone with answers. I have a friend that says at times he sees spots, his head hurts and he has been told by another person that he is experiencing brain spasms or brain seizures. he is on lots of meds for depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts. Any thoughts?

Hello Bettina, and welcome to NeuroTalk.

What a wonderful friend you are to be seeking information for your friend. We have different forums where you will most likely get the information that you're looking for, for example, here's the link to our Epilepsy Forum where people who have seizures get help from each other. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum11.html

There's also a Depression Forum, and one for people who have either lost some-one to suicide, or had suicidal thoughts themselves.

Here's a link to our Depression Forum as well : http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum37.html

Have a look around and see what forums best suit your needs, and join in anywhere Bettina.

Hi, Bettina! Welcome to NeuroTalk!

You're a good friend. Has your friend seen a neurologist? It seems like that would be an important step toward discovering the cause. Also, has his prescribing doc looked into the side-effects of his meds? The meds can often make symptoms appear.

You may also benefit from visiting our medications forum here:
