Default New from near St. Louis

Hi, Lifesaver54 here!

Just a bit of info for now.

I have Depression, PTSD, ADHD, Fibromyalgia and Migraines. I am on Desipramine, Lyrica, Concerta, and Estradiol patch (ERT).

Long story and medical nightmare in the last year and a half. Struggling with some side effects lately and am very frustrated.

I am searching for a job and have an appointment with the Department of Rehabilitation in my state. I will learn what I need to submit for disability qualification with the state. With Affirmative Action, there is a hiring preference of equally qualified candidates with disabilities. I am also applying for jobs in higher ed. Just need some help to deal with the disability issues properly--avoid discrimination.

Hi there Lifesaver and welcome to NeuroTalk.

I'm sorry to hear about all the medical problems that have plagued you, but do let us know if we can help with anything in particular.

As you have more than one condition I won't refer you to any one forum, rather I suggest that you have a look around and join in anywhere you feel comfortable.
