Default Hi from a Lyme Person

Hello to all,

I just joined these message boards. I found out I have Lyme Disease about a year ago and even though I don't have too many neuologial problems, I do know that Lyme Disease can cause them. But I am depressed because Lyme is a hideous thing to have and I need someone to visit with now and then. Because sometimes when you are battling some particular problem, others that aren't, don't seem to understand. I don't think my husband really understood all the implications of Lyme, until I convinced him to read one of my books on the topic and now he get's it. I also lived with chronic pain. So as I checked at the top, I am stressed for things that are controlling my life.
Best wishes to all of you.

P.S. I also got kicked off healthboards.com. I tried to log on after about a year and it said you were kicked on in 2005? Huh?? What's that about. I probably only posted a few times and didn't break any rules to my knowledge.
Geesh!!!!!!!!!

Hello WhiteFlower, and welcome to NeuroTalk from me as well.

I'm sorry to hear about the Lyme Disease but you've come to a great place to get advice and support. Maybe we'll meet again around the boards, but I just wanted to say Hi!

Hi, WhiteFlower! Welcome to NeuroTalk!

It's so true for most neurological issues, people who don't experience them have not even a clue what it's like. We can talk ourselves silly trying to explain it, but it's just impossible for them to understand.

Getting kicked off HB is a badge of honor around here.

Hello Whiteflower and another Welcome to NeuroTalk here. Nice to meet you.

A good friend of mine was just dx'd w/Lyme's and has been on antibiotics for a month. His wife is worried sick about the after affects from it, but right now, he is feeling ok.

Hope you take a look around and make yourself at home. Glad you found us.
