Hi, Sunsettbay!
![]() I'm sorry to learn that you're being left in the dark for so long. Do consider that if there were something uegently threatening, no doubt you'd be notified immediately and asked to come in sooner. Unfortunately, few of us here are really medically qualified to analyze your results and I suspect those who are would be very cautious about doing so. Perhaps a little surfing the internet would yield you some averages and explanations. Please take care to read everything with the proverbial grain of salt. I hope you'll get some answers soon! ![]()

So far I found this-
IgA Immunoglobulin A Est. Normal Range: 80 - 350 mg/dl Lab-specific Varies by age [Immunoglobulin A (IgA) is a type of antibody that protects against infections of the mucous membranes lining the mouth, airways, and digestive tract.] http://www.lymphomation.org/tests-immunoglobulins.htm looks like thesite/page is dated 2004 though... when i search for cerevisiae - it mainly comes up with yeast info - Saccharomyces cerevisiae- so not sure if that related to your testing results or not.

My suggestion is to call the GI doctor's office and ask for the nurse to call you back. Many times they will explain your results and if they are abnormal or not. But be prepared for them not to go into detail. If you can't get them to talk with you, call your primary and ask them to explain the results.
I wouldn't reply on the internet for answers because your blood work results can lead to various ideas of what it actually is. You will drive yourself nuts trying to decipher what is what. Only your doctor knows why they ordered the tests and what they were looking for. Even a normal result can yield answers so your best to call and ask for yourself. Hope you feel better soon. ![]()
