Default scared

I guess maybe I'm not ready for this yet. Then too, I am so beyond computer illiterate. I guess I feel like I have reached the end of my rope and have no one that understands. Sorry, maybe I'll come back later. Somehow I feel incredibly stupid talking to "no one".

But you are not talking to "no one", you are talking to us! Please don't give up...we all started somewhere!

Judy,

Don't give up there are plenty of us out here willing to give advice and support. As far as computer illiterate, you did a great job for a start. We are all illiterate compared to the kids these days. Have you looked at the specific forums down the page for group(s) with your particular problem(s)? Just hang in there Kid!

When I made my first post on an internet support site, I felt a little lost and a little silly, too. I'd already been ill for over a year, and seen a dozen doctors and specialists. But I didn't realize until I tried how much I needed to talk to people who would understand what my life is like now. There have seriously been days when coming to this site have changed my whole day or night, and maybe more than that. I hope you do come back and introduce yourself to us, and maybe tell us more about you and your life. I really don't think you'd regret it. Good luck and best wishes to you, Judie...

Judie You're among friends here! Welcome to NeuroTalk! We all had to post that first introduction at one time. We were all new here once.

There are amazingly friendly and helpful people here. I think you'll find that you feel like a part of the family very quickly.

I hope you're reading these welcome posts and come back to visit.

I agree with the others! Please don't give up. You're not talking to no-one!

We're all here but sometimes it takes a little while for us to reply to everybody's posts. Some people don't sign in every day, while others check out other threads before they come here to see if anyone new has dropped in.

Then you have people like me who live in a totally different time zone, so by the time I check in there's usually a whole heap of stuff happening that I have to catch up on.

Please don't give up. We really are very nice and are more than happy to welcome new people to the site.

Oh, I hope you can at least lurk for a while...I had to lurk for almost two years...didn't know what I had missed until seven months ago.

I love my Neuro Talk family and they love me...sometime this is the only place free of all I am challenged with every day....I say welcome and hope to see you soon.
