Default noise since concussion

Hello,I banged my head on a wall 2 months ago, since then I've had most of the symptoms associated with post concussion.I'm finally starting to feel better but i still get a persistant ringing noise in the ears. I've had tests on my ears which have revealed nothing wrong.Has anyone suffered the same thing and could give me an idea of the time involved for it to clear up in their case....many thanks

Hi and Welcome to Neurotalks.

What kind of doctors have you been seeing?? Have any of them given you ANY answers at all?

Ringing in the ears is tinnitus, and I gather there are many reasons for this.

I do hope someone comes along and gives you more information.

All I can do is hold out a big Welcome and hope that you resolve your problem soon.

Take care,

Melody

Hi there Syded and welcome to NeuroTalk.

I too have suffered from Post Concussion Syndrome following a nasty head injury, so I have some idea of what you may have been going through.

We have a great forum here to help people like your self, and here's the direct link. It's called Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Concussion Syndrome. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum92.html

Hope fully you'll meet others with similar issues to your own, and please...... make yourself at home.
