Hi,

I am excited to be part of this forum, i have been suffering with this problem for 4 years. It started after I had Chimo for lung cancer . The treatments were severe as needed to shrink the tumor so they used Taxol in combination with other drugs this is known to cause nerve damage. I have been to several doctors and they have no cure for this, I find when my feet burn ice packs are the only thing that helps if anyone has any help I would love to hear from them.

Hi Jennifer and welcome to NeuroTalk! I'm sorry to hear of your health struggles. What you describe sounds sort of like PN so I have provided the link to that forum:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum20.html

Hopefully someone there can give you some suggestions on what to do to relieve the symptoms.

Glad you joined us!!

I'm sorry to hear about the cancer that you had, and about the side effects that you suffered from the Chemotherapy. I had major surgery for bowel cancer but I was fortunate in that I didn't need to have chemo. You'll find others here who've had similar operations and treatments as well, so you're sure to get plenty of support from others who care.

Welcome to NeuroTalk Jennifer. It's good to have you with us.
