I haven't held a bottle of Pediasure in my hands in a long time....

I could be wrong... but...From what I have heard.... plastics containing the chemical PBA have the number 7 inside the recycle triangle.

If anyone has any different or additional information please let us know... as I said... I could be wrong.

Watching a news story on it now. Avoid numbers 3, 6 and 7 in the recycle triangle.

If its the number 1 in the recycle triangle its good for a single use. So not reuse water bottles.

Wow I had no idea about this biphosenal issue. Scary stuff. Its in most of the plactics we use in the microwave and dishwasher. TOnight on the news they even recommended that you ditch your old plastic containers and use the glad ones that have the 1 in the recycle triangle. I guess this biphosenol actaully causes cancer and ADHD etc.

Glad this story came on when I was reading this post. Kismet.

Hi, Mbormo! Welcome to NeuroTalk!

Boy, that's a complicated question, you might call the 800 number that is on the container and ask them directly.

Lightbulb I'd call them and ask:

Abbott Nutrition Consumer Relations
625 Cleveland Avenue
Columbus, Ohio 43215

Phone:
1-800-227-5767
Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., EST

It is getting pretty scary:

No matter what you read, I think this data will be changing constantly.
So don't assume anything.

A cause for being overweight, and metabolic syndrome? Which is epidemic in this country?
