http://www.chiromatrix.com/Chiroprac...hart/index.htm

I appreciate all your urls so very very much~!~

I'm having trouble getting an appt for even an evaluation visit with a regular chiropractor. They are apparently very popular in this Hilton Head/ Savannah area. It would mean so much just to have a suggestion of what the problem might be - after any sort of thorough examination.

Yes, I did an online search for DCs in this area but apparently was hurting so badly that I didn't do it properly. Appreciate those few sites that are search able. Will check those out first. Right now I'm in so much pain - looking at the screen and keyboarding is horribly painful with this pain - must rest but will get back to it as soon as I can function...

Thank you so much for giving me just what I needed so desperately right now. Neither of my sons, my brother, nor my only nephew (only one of them is married - his wife and her family barely understand English), so it's like I'm the only woman left in the family.

No one who knows me well can believe I have this awful ongoing pain that is imoblizing me! They've always been able to count on me to be there to help do whatever needs to be done.

Getting your urls for locating chiropractors nationwide was just what I needed most today. You have given me hope! This wretched pain and lack of sleep has been extremely frustrating for someone who has always been able to drive everywhere (I always take my two dogs along - hate having them fly) and get so much done...

If you do find one and get in for an appt
- if at anytime you feel they aren't the right one for you do speak up and make an excuse and leave.

also when you call ask if Dc does other protocols or therapies for pain relief as opposed to "only" adjustments..

To me it sounds like you may also need some ultrasound, low level laser, or electric IF type stimulation {like a TENs only works deeper and on the muscles}, maybe some hands on tissue release or even trigger point therapy.
My dc uses many of those and does the c1/c2 when needed.

but I'm just thinking that due to the fall was a yr ago & you were pretty much ok til the dental work - so that's the info i'm going by

Thanks for the Savannah list w/map. It looks like Dr. Vaughn is the only chiro who is actually certified in the ChiroNeuro sub specialty that I can find in this area online. He's described on their Savannah Chiropractic section. healthysavannah. com / boutus. html

Apparently they're not in on TH so I left a message. What do you think of his credentials? experience, level of training. years of practice, etc? I know very little about any of this.

Thanks again for the help. I really am feeling very sick to my stomach right now. Sure wish I had an appt set up for tomorrow. I don't see how I can bear another weekend with this kind of pain... This whole thing is really getting to me...

Thanks for the suggestion, I will ask for an emergency visit. Just praying that they will be able to squeeze me in, recommend another good place or something! You've been such a great source of help and encouragement ~!~
I DON'T have enough posts to give you Dr. Vaughn info yet but if you add the typical beginnings and delete spaces you might figure out how to access his info...

his info looks pretty good to me -
http://www.healthysavannah.com/cv.html

did you see the forms tab- you can get them filled out ahead of time if you think you are going to make an appt.
[Just print, fill out and then you can bring the filled out forms on your first
visit or you can fax us your completed forms ]
http://www.healthysavannah.com/NewPatientForms.html

I love to fill those forms out at home.. so much easier than a clip board on your lap plus you can take your time...

some of the info might be handy to keep copies of.
