What is the first line treatment for Peripheral Neuropathy? My dx was never specific. One neurologist indicated the following: Monoclonal Gammopathy or CIDP. I saw two others, one who felt their was evidence for Moderate Generalized Sensorimotor Polyneuropathy and then added that their was evidence for Neuromuscular Junctional impairment as seen in MG. The last one agreed with those findings and given the Meds I could take, IVIg was what they all offered and one also added Imuran. I realize the latter would not really make a difference until a year of use.

Hi and welcome to Neurotalk,

This is a great place full of very helpful and friendly people.

Unfortunatley I cant help you with your questions, but if you go to the fourm about PN,
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum20.html I'm sure you will find people who are willing to answer your questions,

or there is the Medication forum at http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum72.html
as here in the welcome thread not everyone may see them.

Hope to see you around some more,
Take care
Kate
