Hi there Elaiza and welcome to NeuroTalk.

I've never heard of a specific job that could lead to a Cerebro Spinal Fluid leak, but there are lots of causes for them to happen. It's even possible to have one occur spontaneously. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/405624

You don't mention why you want to know and I was wondering if you think this might be happening with you.

Try typing CSF leak into your web browser, and see what you come up with.

Default hello

hello Elaiza

sorry if you have this condition I don,t think there is any job you can do unless it involves banging your head or breaking your back
the main symptom are loss of balance , a thunder cap head ache on sitting or standing , ringing in the ear clear or straw colored thin liquid coming from nose ,ears or rarely eyes or internally from the spine or down the back of the throat
they are normally caused by skull fractures or lumber punctures but can be spontaneous it can also cause chari malformation I have a head leak and if you have a leak you sure know you have got one, post some more info on your problem on the csf forum and i will try to answer with some docs that treat this if I feel up to it

welcome to NT

Default CSF Leak

Hi there THANKYOU so much for all your support, its so nice to know there are awesome people out there. The reason I asked about the job was, my Doctor told me because I was a dog groomer it was highly unlikely that I would get a CSF Leak. But I did get a CSF leak which came out of my left nostril and got a cyst on top of it and then got Bacterial meningitus.I have had it fixed but I have been trying to find some one in New Zealand that had the same as me, so that I could talk to them. So if there is anyone out there from NZ please contact me, I will be so grateful.
Kind Regards to you all and take care
