Default New I Think ?

Hi there,

Just found this board and after browsing a bit I still don't know if I fit.

I do not have pain, just tingling/ pins and needles all the time! Hands arms feet legs and groin. Doctor said Neuropathy from Diabetes a few years ago. Condition has gotten a little worse but not much. My Diabetes is diet controlled and only gets a little high in the morning about 150 or so, A1c has always been below 6.0, in the normal range,so I have a hard time accepting this diagnosis.

Now a little more about me; Male 56 married with children, Diabetes for 6 years, Hemachomatosis for 1 year, Fibromyalgia last 9 years.

I am taking Imapramine and Felxeril for the Fibro Pain, its also supposed to help with the Neuro... a few vicodins a month for the real bad fibro days. I still work everyday and function pretty good.

But from reading here, most of you have pain and numbness, any one with the body tingles ?

Oh well,

Thanks
Doc and no I am not a doctor of medicine

Hi doc, and welcome to NeuroTalk! We're so glad you found us!

I have numbness and tingling which is due to MS, so I can't help you with your symptoms.

There are some great forums here with many different topics, and lots of very nice and helpful people. This is a great place to hang out.

Hi Doc and welcome to NeuroTalk!

I have pain, numbness and tingling from Multiple Sclerosis.....so I can sort of relate to what you're experiencing.

This is a great place to come and vent, ask questions, post about your experiences, etc. Lots of very friendly, understanding and caring folks here.

Here's the link to the Social chat forum. When you get tired of talking and thinking about health problems it's a great place to hang out and discuss other things!
