Thumbs up Neuropathy Advocate and new member

Hello,

I am dx PN / CIDP

I now spend my time researching, educating, teaching. support group leader trainer, author. blogger etc.

I look forward to spending some time on this sight. I do belong to many other sites geared toward patient education and awareness. I am also a member of the neuropathy association. I am the president of the SCCNA which is the Southern California Chapter of the Neuropathy Association. I am also the President of our Home Owners Association. As you can see I am very busy when I'm able to get out of bed that is.

Regards,
David Hines

Good to know someone so active in this field will be posting and I look forward to seeing more. I have done a little research into Neuropathic Pain and Peripheral Neuropathy and the most authoritative article I have found so far on the web can be found by a search engine citing the terms: "Scadding ACNR Neuropathic" (I haven't yet made enough posts on this site to be able to post links). This review article is full of medical jargon but there is a lot of useful information about the causes and treatments of NP/PN that will repay the effort of deciphering.
Best wishes for your work.

Default Welcome David.

Godo to see you over here (as well as at the Neuropathy Association website).

You'll find a lot of brain power over here (pun intended) as regards the condition (including a number of people who used to post at the aforementioned board but sort of gave up doing it when that board became harder to navigate--this one is quite easy).
