Hi there,
I had hydrocephalus when I was born, had a shunt at three months and a revision at 13 years old. Since then, touch wood!, I have had no other surgery. However when I land at airports where the descent is quick ( and not gradual as at London Gatwick) I suffer with severe headaches for about two days afterwards. Does anyone else relate to this? Also, I find that when the air pressure is high such as during the Summer I suffer similar headaches. Does anyone with a shunt also suffer from this? Thanks and I hope you will comment as it will be of great help!! |
