Confused Colloid Cyst

I was disagnosed back in December 2006 with a colloid cyst of the third ventricle. I have been to see my neurosurgeon several times (once a year) since I had my first seizure due to the cyst. My question is this; if it doesn't change in size and I'm doing "great" according to him, then why is it that I am still getting these god-awful headaches and stabbing pains behind my eye?

Welcome to Neurotalk. I'm sorry that you are having problems with that cyst. There are many areas on this forum that you can go,and talk to people.

If you scroll down in the forum, you will find various posts, and threads where people are talking about things like this.

I wish that I could help you,but I don't know anything about cysts. I'm sorry that you are having pain with it. Brokenfriend

LI have gone the surgery and symptoms of a colloid cyst and can tell you that they will not get any better with the passage of time. I recommend that you get a different neursugreon and fast. These are not tumors that can be fooled around with!!!
