Default Chicken Little here

Hi everyone, I was just diagnosed with trigeminal nueralgia a few days ago. I just found this forum yesterday and I appear to be among friends. I must admit it is very scary to read some of the ramifications of TN on people.I cannot bear to think that this pain will be chronic, I have a young son, and I have to work, its depressing at best ...and Im a glass half full kind of person. Anyway, I look forward to tips and a friendly smile from you folks. Thank you Don

Hi Donald and welcome to NeuroTalk.

I don't have TN now, but I did have one isolated "attack" of TN a few years ago. Mine was caused by MS so I daresay the cause of your flare is nothing similar to mine, but I wanted you to know that I have some idea of what you're going through.

I hope you get relief soon, and that your flare doesn't last!
