Smile Greetings & salutations fron new england!

Hi,
My name Is Mike. I joined today due to my lack of friends or family from whom I can turn to for support. I will be undergoing alfa interferon & ribvarin treatment which I understand has severe side affects. My main concerns will be weight loss, diet and nutrition and maintainence and/or building of lean muscle mass.

Default Another New Englander

Hi, I too am from Rhode Island, great to find some here from same part of country as I am. I have no idea what those procedures you are having done are, but I hope they help you, and you recover fast. I hope you find the support here you are looking for.

Hi! I am in Central Falls/Pawtucket area. There are messenger tabs and links in my profile if you wish to chat privately. The treatments I mentioned are for treating hepatits C....I got it either from a tattoo episode or when I had a blood transfusion way back when since the only way to get C is from tainted blood. I hope you get answers and support to your own issues and recover soon.

Default Treatment

Hi, Mike..I saw this post and just wanted to say that my neighbor has been on her treatment for hep C for almost a year. She said the most of what she experienced was extreme fatigue. She did have some weight loss too, but the need to sleep was the greatest on her.
Good luck, and hang in there!
