Help me out here

I am having trouble using this community and need direction. I tried to post a new thread and was blocked for some reason.
Can someone assist a confused person? I was asking if anyone knew of any condtion that would contraindicate the use of the sublingual B12? One of my docs wants me to try that.

Hi Karen

not sure if this is the thread you were posting? There is a slight delay for initial posts to show as they are premoderated till a member has made a default number

here is your other thread that I saw on our PN forum

all the best

:)

Love sublingual B12. The GNC brand tastes pretty good. Cheaper brands have an unpleasant taste, just for a little while, though.

I'm just getting acquainted with your posts. I'm sorry you have so many things to deal with. It's hard, I'm sure. Just do the best you can.

When we're in these situations, you do what you have to do for now. Hopefully things will get better. Give it time.

Sublingual B12

Thanks for your rapid responses, but what I need to know is if there are any conditions where the sublingual form of B12 is CONTRAINDICATED. In other words when it might be advisable not to use this form of B12?

Interesting question. Sorry I can't give you the answer. I have taken it for years and no one has said anything about B12 in a negative way. The docs know I take B12 with my meds.

Here is a site -- don't think you can click and go on it. you may have to type the address in. There were some side effects, after reading this, that I may need to research.

Sublingual B12

Thanks for trying guys. I have researched this all over the place including the Wikepedia. I just wanted to know if the SUBLINGUAL form-that is the type that one puts under the tongue-is advised against for any particular syndrome or condtion.
I had somewhere read that sublingual was containdicated with certain disorders. I just can't find the reference.
If someone runs across this at some point, I would love to see the reference.
Thanks again,
Karen
