Well, I had the injections today and the numbing of the injections site was nothing more than a bee sting type pain. On my left side when he was inserting the needle I had minimal pain until it was over, however the right side is another story. Upon the insertion it was minimal but he must of had trouble finding the exact spot to place the needle and inject the medication because it took twice as long and the pain was awful. At one point I was biting the pillow, raised my head and moaned loadly, he responding with "Im sorry" this continued for what seemed like 20 minutes but in actuality was about 4. I even began to cry at one point it was so painful, Im am at home now and it has been about 7 hours and I am having some pain in both sides but more so on the right. I am very sore especially when I sit up or put more pressure on either side, I really dont know whether to use heat or ice, I am however taking some pain medication to take the edge off. I hope the next few days will improve and it was all worth it. I will wait to make that decision this weekend. :
